Your first ReplyPilot reply, and the two places it goes wrong
Our onboarding guide spends most of its words on two things.
Pinning the ReplyPilot icon in Chrome's toolbar isn't signing in. It only makes the icon easier to find. You still open it and connect your account, and if you ever need to reconnect, do it in the same Chrome profile you installed it in.
The other is picking a hard first post. A nested discussion, or a video where the point is said out loud, gives the draft very little to work with. Pick a post with clear text and decide what you want to add first: a question, an observation, or a thanks. Click the comment field, type /rp, and start with the Normal length if a sentence or two will do.
The instruction we use as the example: "Ask how the author tested this approach. Keep the question direct; do not claim I have tried it."
Read what comes back, cut praise you wouldn't say out loud, and post it yourself. More in the first reply walkthrough.
